Our staff has over twenty years of experience with timber frame structures. We’ve dismantled, moved, and erected many barns. We’ve moved complete barns as large as 46’ x 100’ intact, and houses as large as 30’ x 60’ with a 20’ x 30’ ell addition in two pieces. Sometimes moving a timber frame structure intact is not possible because of obstructions or distance. We have the experience to dismantle, move by truck, and then erect the structure. We can handle any size timber frame barn and can relocate it any distance.

Our staff has completed many structural repairs on antique houses and barns, ranging from simple sill replacements to complex heavy timber truss roof system reconstruction. Proper structural repairs are critical to the longevity of the house or barn and must be completed with care. We have great ideas for repairing all types of structural damage and work with licensed Professional Engineers to ensure the repairs are structurally sound and meet local building codes.

Our specialty is converting timber frame barns into either living or commercial space. We will locate a timber frame structure, if needed, to suit the project, be it a memorable commercial building or beautiful home, and work with an architect to design an arrangement that delights you. We will fully manage the dismantling of the structure and moving it to the job site and ensure it is erected and repaired if so needed. Next, the timber frame structure will begin to take its final form when the structure is closed-in and the interior finishing stage begins. We’ve completed conversions for many uses, which include a golf course, shopping center, house additions, garages, guest houses, and primary residences.
